Editorial policy

Fresh Valley aims to make the living ground easier to understand. We publish clear, careful explanations and identify the limits of what a general article can say about soils, gardens, and changing local conditions.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual claims against reliable information and take care with terminology, quantities, and descriptions of cause and effect. Articles should separate established general principles from context-dependent guidance. We do not present a single method as suitable for every soil, climate, or garden.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for relevance to readers, not to secure a commercial placement. A partnership does not buy favourable coverage or editorial control. Where a commercial relationship could matter to how a reader interprets material, we make it clear.

Corrections

We welcome specific reports of errors through the Contact page. When a correction is warranted, we update the affected material and explain a significant change in context. We may revise wording for clarity, but will not quietly leave a material factual error unaddressed.

Partner material and illustrations

Sponsored or partner material is identified as such and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when they are, they are labelled. Illustrations are not presented as documentary evidence of a particular garden, plant, or soil condition.
